City of Bath under-14s boys made it five England Hockey Championship wins out of five with a brace of handsome victories at Exeter School.

Depleted local rivals Team Bath Buccs were dispatched 13-1 in the first game, with Alex Bullard finding the net five times.

Joe Tait started the rout and later doubled his tally, Sam Cope helped himself to four goals and Nick Harris and Leo Fountain completed the scoring.

Keeper Dudley Adams was called upon on several times before Buccs grabbed a deserved consolation goal.

City sealed top spot in their pool and a place at April’s regional finals with an 8-0 defeat of Isca, who had themselves beaten Buccs 6-0 earlier in the day.

Callum Sipson bagged his first two goals of the season and Fountain also notched a double, with Bullard, J-P Ladugie and Cope joining them on the scoresheet.
