FAN'S VIEW: What a turnaround since October
After Saturday's magnificent victory 2-0 at Welling United, Bath City found themselves occupying the dizzy heights of third place in Blue Square South.
I need to repeat that – third place! Why do I need to repeat it? Well, cast your mind back five months. Following the defeat at Newport on October 3 we were hovering just above the relegation zone in 16th place.

We were in that position following a horrendous run of injuries which meant that we could never put out our first-choice team and the bench was bare.
What a turnaround since. We haven't reached this position through accident, we have got there thanks to the skill and hard work of the management and the players.
The team have shown that they are as good as anybody in the league. Never was this more in evidence than on Saturday when City completely outplayed a Welling team who were unbeaten in eight league matches and who had just thrashed Woking 5-0.
I would also hope that a little of credit for the turnaround may lay with the improved atmosphere created by the Bath City fans.
The management and players have been quick to thank the fans for our support and on Saturday the Welling fans themselves commended us for our large and vocal following.
The group of singers and flag wavers have now given themselves a name, the Legion. This is expanding every week and long may it continue to do so.
The real hard work starts now to stay in the play-offs and the supporters and the wider public of Bath can do their bit by turning out in large numbers and making a cracking atmosphere for the remaining games of the season, starting with Thurrock on Saturday.
The players are not just working hard on the pitch but are also helping out with the Attacking Skills project with local primary schools.
Sido Jombati will visit St Andrew's Primary School today and other players, including captain Jim Rollo will be visiting St Mary's Primary Timsbury, St Michael's Junior Twerton, High Littleton Primary, Marksbury Primary and Westfields Primary during this month. The players will be talking about their lives as footballers, answering questions from the children and taking practical skills sessions.
The players have full-time jobs but are happy to give up their time to help with this project. I think that is highly commendable and shows how committed they are to the community.
Two fans will be training hard this month in readiness for a sponsored cycle ride from Bath to Worcester on April 5.
Jez and Dan Britten will be cycling the 75 miles to raise funds for the club. Anyone wishing to sponsor them can do so via worcsbike@ googlemail.com or via the Supporters Club shop on match days.
Good luck to the Britten boys. It is great that fans are putting in such efforts to raise funds.
