Entrants from across the UK took part in the recent TeamBath Swimming Grand Prix – but there was still plenty of home success to enjoy in the University of Bath 50m pool.

Joss Bennett, Daniella Whiting, Siobhan O'Connor, Katie Parfitt, Chris Venning, Harry Ash, Jamie Towner, Josh Purnell, Nicole Easdaile and Chloe Flower all won gold medals for the host club.

Squad chairman Denton Clutterbuck said – "This was only our second meet and our first 'Level 1' event but everything went smoothly.

"I want to thank everyone who helped to make this a success. I'm particularly grateful to Sam Matthews who organised entries for the meet and ran it over the three days.

"It was fantastic to see such strong competition here at our home pool. Talking to a number of visiting parents its clear that this is an attractive venue to swim at, with the excellent facilities here that include state-of-the-art timing equipment and the extensive café facilities – and of course the delights of our World Heritage City are on the doorstep."

TeamBath will host another meet from May 7-9, which will include a level 3 sprint event on the Friday followed by a level 1 competition on the Saturday and Sunday.
