Halfway to Disneyland trip target
Conductor Grenville Jones is halfway to a £20,000 target he has set himself to take a group of young people with severe learning difficulties to Disneyland Paris.
He was inspired to help the Mencap Super Saturday Club at Three Ways School in Bath after a fun singing session last December. After help from Bath Rugby, Bath Rotary Club and Midsomer and Radstock Lions, the fund now stands at just over £11,000. Planning for the weekend break for 25 children and carers next May is now under way.
