The Bradford on Avon University of the Third Age had such a strong turn out at its first meeting that it was forced to change venue.

More than 100 people attended the event at the Riverside Inn, ready to find out more about the learning and social opportunities available.

Steering committee chairman Jenny Breckman said: "We were surprised and delighted by the number of people who turned up.

"It will give us a new lease of life."
