Grand finale for band as concert season ends
Brass music filled the air at Parade Gardens at the weekend thanks to Bath Spa Band.
The concert on Sunday was the last of the band's summer outdoor performances and included a fundraising raffle.
Funds raised from the raffle will be used to buy music and instruments for Bath Spa Training Band, which caters for players both young and old who are learning to play a brass instrument or returning to playing after a break.
The band played a selection of traditional brass band pieces, marches, swing, popular music and classical arrangements.

Rachel Potter, spokesman for the band, said: "The concert went really well. There were quite a lot of people in the end which was good considering the weather."
Ms Potter said it was too early to say how much the raffle raised.
The brass band, which has been entertaining music lovers for more than 90 years, has members from across the region including Bath, Bristol and parts of Wiltshire, as well as the city's two universities.
