Golden haul for Laura
SWIMMING Laura McNab won five gold medals as a Bath Dolphin quartet excelled at the Western Counties ASA Swimming Championships over two weekends.
The Royal High School pupil, her sister Izzy, Ieuan George and Jasper Lye all achieved personal best times across 17 events after coming up against some of the best swimmers in the district.
Laura also came second in the top 10-year-old girl award and head coach Phil Brake said he was delighted with the youngsters' performances.
"The swimmers represented themselves and Bath Dolphin with distinction and I am very proud of their achievements and their dedication to their training and sport," he said.
