Glitz and glamour at Corsham Primary School's Oscars
Primary school children have been getting a taste of Hollywood glitz and glam at their very own Oscars ceremony.
The event at Corsham Primary School was held to celebrate the hard work and success of the youngsters, as well as members of staff.

The hall had been decorated with balloons and 7ft Oscar statues, and each class was awarded a "certificate of brilliance" in recognition of their particular talents.
There were accolades for Excellent Animators, Careful and Considerate Problem Solvers, Craft Creators and Marvellous Makers, and Most Improved Readers.

Among the staff, who were wearing formal dress to add some extra glamour to the occasion, there were prizes for Specialist Leader of Education and Outstanding Teacher Status.
Bath Rugby academy players Will Tanner and Tom Baldwin were on hand to present the Oscars and bags of treats to each class.
Executive head teacher Fiona Allen said the event, which involved all 620 pupils and is held every two years, was a great way to congratulate everyone on the dedication they showed to their learning.
She said: "This is a lovely event made extra special to see the children's faces when the children are given an award surrounded by balloons, confetti and 7ft Oscars."
