GALLERY: Penultimate Bath Skyline 10k series race beats the wintry weather
Team Bath AC veteran David Vaudin maintained his good record in the Bath Skyline 10k Series with another top-ten finish on Sunday.
In the third and penultimate fixture, which saw a late change to the course due to the heavy snow, Vaudin finished eighth and top veteran in 47mins 12secs to back up his sixth place in November and fifth in December.

Club-mate Lizzie Wraith (51:08) improved from third in December to claim an emphatic victory from Chepstow’s Niki Morgan (52:38) in the women’s race, while Jose Manuel Pabon from Ealing Eagles was the overall winner in 43:00.
“The snow made things challenging, especially when cornering fast or passing someone when you couldn’t make use of the packed down snow and had to go ‘off piste‘,” said Wraith.
