Every year a small group from Bath based
not-for-profit organisation Eduserv take part in a national event
called Byte Night - the IT industry's annual sleep out in
support of Action for Children. This year we have set ourselves high
targets to raise more than ever for this fantastic cause. We set out to reach
these goals by organising various activities and events such as cake sales,
Quiz Nights, sweepstakes for the Football Euros and Tour de France, and
'Pie'ing the Sales team'. Our grand fundraising finale will be an evening of
music and entertainment at Molloy's, Bath, on Friday 28th September, which
we have named @LIVE.
We have found some superb artists who
have agreed to perform for FREE to help raise money for this great cause! Even if
the music isn't particularly your thing (although there should be something to
suit most tastes), it will certainly be a fun night with lots of other things
going on, including a raffle draw for which we have been incredibly lucky
gaining donations from generous local businesses! There will also be a
photographer to take snaps of you with your friends with our customised photo
frame to show your support for Action for Children.

Up next will be Tom Price-Stephens, an
acoustic singer-songwriter currently embarking on the London scene, playing
wherever people will listen, and loving every minute. The intimacy and honesty
of nights spent playing music with friends and family at BBQs and on beaches is
engrained in Tom's songwriting and performance, making rooms full of strangers
feel instantly at home.

Next up will be the Tafijah Allstars!
Tafijah Allstars appeared in a pub one day. Some folk say ... "they came
down the chimney" ... and there are those who maintain ... "they came
tumbling out of the fag machine" ... but one thing is certain; they
brought with them a distinct form of reggae that the people in the pub called
"dirty reggae" because someone spilled an ash tray on it. These guys
are not to be missed!

And headlining the evening will be
beautiful vocals from The Voice star Hannah Berney with Special Guest Bath's
very own Emmy J Mac. Hannah is a Welsh vocalist and songwriter currently in the
studio and song writing sessions working on original material for release. She
has been writing music and gigging in bands and as a solo artist since the age
of 15. Hannah's talent was recognised this year when she reached the final
twenty on BBC's The Voice with "Team Danny".

Local DJ Octavius JiveFish will be
also be supporting the evening. With a funky mix of Swing, Electro-Swing,
Balkan, Gypsy Beats, Reggae, Ska, Motown/soul/funk, he is bound to keep you
dancing and smiling all night!
