Free drop-in service to help smokers quit habit
Health chiefs are launching a free drop-in service in Bath in a bid to help more people give up smoking.
The move by Sirona Care and Health's Healthy Lifestyle Service to set up the service on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays in Bath city centre follows two successful drop-in sessions introduced in Keynsham.
And specialists will also be at Bath City FC on Saturday for the clash with Dover Athletic in a bid to help fans kick the habit.
Richard Merrett, Sirona's lifestyle service manager, said between 60 per cent and 70 per cent of smokers wanted to give up.
