Free WiFi now available in libraries
Bath Central, Keynsham and Midsomer Norton Libraries have now been equipped by Bath & North East Somerset Council to supply library users with free WiFi access.
Any device with a wireless connection will be able to connect to the "BANES-PUBLIC" network and once you have entered your name and email address you're free to surf the world.
Councillor David Dixon (Lib-Dem. Oldfield), Cabinet Member for Neighbourhoods, said: "The most enquiries we get from our library users and visitors is whether we have WiFi access available, we have been working hard to provide this service and now we are able to do so in Bath & North East Somerset Council's three largest libraries.
"We hope to encourage our regular library users and new library users to use this excellent addition to our library offer, If you are not a library member already you can join for free by visiting any library in Bath and North East Somerset or online at www.librarieswest.org.uk."
