Florists bloom in time for Chelsea
Four trainee florists from Bath have had success in a national competition designed to test their skills against some of the most talented students across the country.
The City of Bath College students took part in the heats of the Chelsea Florist of the Year, held at the New Covent Garden Flower Market.
Megan Bidmead won first place in the over-25s category, meaning she has secured a place at next year's Chelsea Flower Show, while Catherine Campbell came second.
In the under 25s, Stephanie Eastwood won second place and Polly Le Vailant came in third.

Floristry course leader Louise Rawlings congratulated all four on their success and said everyone was particularly pleased for Megan.
She said: "This is a huge achievement and as Megan came first she will be going to compete at the Chelsea Flower Show next year."
The event was sponsored by Bath-based travel company European Connoisseurs Travel and CEO Theresa McDermott said she was pleased that competitors from the city had such success.
She said: "We are delighted that students from our city accomplished so much in this competition.
"It was the icing on the cake of what turned out to be a great day."
