Fashion puts focus on city
A new advertising campaign for the city began this week with a special photo shoot.
Bath Tourism Plus and the Bath Business Improvement District are working in partnership to promote the city by emphasising its architecture, as well as the up and coming Bath in Fashion festival.

The shoot, with photographer Simon Powell, was directed by Steve Haskins of So Design and styled by Rebekah Roy who creates the catwalk looks for the festival and has styled top models such as Kate Moss.
She said: "I love working in Bath. I used outfits for the shoot from Bath independents who I know so well after working with them on Bath in Fashion."

“Thank goodness they didn't consider resurrecting 2009's "A golden city paved with shops" campaign.
"A golden city paved with shops – no, ignore the empty ones. Yes, we know there seems to be an awful lot of them, but just ignore them. Not an issue, we've got retailers lined up round the block waiting to take possession of the keys, list as long as your bloomin' arm. We have to fend them off with a pointy stick, they're that desperate to move in…..well, no, obviously not this year. But, you know, pretty soon. Soon-ish. Meantime, there's plenty of window space to advertise the Film Festival. Which finished three months ago…..*cough*…."
Just hasn't quite got the same ring to it, has it?”
