Eilidh Child smashes PB again but Jack Green's indoor misery continues
Training partners Eilidh Child and Jack Green saw their contrasting indoor seasons continue in the British Athletics Indoor Grand Prix at Birmingham's NIA yesterday.
Fresh from winning her first UK title, Child - who is coached by Malcolm Arnold at the University of Bath - smashed her 400m personal best once again as she set a Scottish record of 51.50secs while finishing third behind American Natasha Hastings and fellow London 2012 Olympian Perri Shakes-Drayton.

But Green endured a second miserable visit to the Midlands in the space of a fortnight. Having failed to finish at the Birmingham Games due to a dislocated shoulder, the 21-year-old trailed in nine seconds adrift in yesterday's 400m after suffering a leg injury.
"I hate indoors. Currently having stitches in my leg," he tweeted.
