The Duchess of Cornwall will visit Bath's Theatre Royal later this month when she makes her first official appearance as its new patron.
She will visit the theatre in Saw Close on Tuesday, January 20.

During her visit the duchess will be shown the Theatre Royal’s Main House, where she will meet cast members of the pantomime Jack and the Beanstalk. She will also visit the egg theatre for children and the Ustinov, before joining a reception for staff and supporters.
Danny Moar, the Theatre Royal's director, said: "We are delighted to welcome Her Royal Highness, The Duchess of Cornwall to the Theatre Royal Bath.
"Last year, we had the proud honour of announcing the duchess as our patron and we are looking forward to showing her all aspects of our work at the Theatre Royal Bath across all three auditoria."

“The Duchess has spent the greater part of her adult life furthering the good of our Country.
Remind us what you've contributed to it sam?”

“Why so rude? She seems like a nice woman and has been a local(ish) resident for years. What has she ever done to you? Or is it just the institution of monarchy that you dislike?”
