Back and knee injuries convinced the skeleton champion to hang up her spikes two months ago but she could return to competition in the next series of the hit BBC show Strictly.
And Amy, 29, is making the news again, with speculation she has fallen for England Rugby World Cup winner Josh Lewsey.

The couple were seen in public together for the first time at a recent motor racing function in London.
According to MailOnline the couple had been keeping their romance under wraps for the past year after meeting at Bath University's gym.
Amy had previously only referred to her "mystery man" but the MailOnline said their secret was revealed when Lewsey, who played 55 times for England, kissed her after Amy took part in a mock racing car challenge under the guidance of Frome's Jenson Button at a champagne reception at the RAC Club in Pall Mall.
At the time of her retirement, high-profile opportunities away from the ice as well as her injuries convinced the former Hayesfield and Beechen Cliff pupil not to defend her gold medal won at Vancouver in 2010.
She has already appeared on television programmes such as Top Gear, A League of their Own, Friday Night with Jonathan Ross and took part in the reality show 71 Degrees North.
"I'm looking forward to a fresh challenge and having a new goal to aim for," Amy said as she announced her retirement.
"I enjoyed the television challenges and would love to do more of those. I've done a few motivational talks with businesses and I can get more into that as well, but who knows what will crop up?
"Now I'm retired and am not away for five months of the year I am hoping some nice offers will come in."
William Hill have already made Amy favourite to win the next series of Strictly Come Dancing ahead of former BBC Breakfast presenter Sian Williams.
“Sian will be very popular as many of the BBC breakfast viewers will also be fans of Strictly but Amy is an amazing sportswoman and she is where my money would go!” said William Hill’s spokesman Rupert Adams.
The latest odds are: 7/1 Amy Williams, 9/1 Sian Williams, 10/1 Michael Vaughan, 16/1 Fern Britton.
