A Give and Take Day at New Oriel Hall, Brookleaze buildings, Larkhall, Bath BA1 6RA will be held by Bath & North East Somerset Council on Saturday 9 March 2013 from 10am - 1pm. Give and Take days are a simple way for residents to get rid of reusable items they no longer need and take things that they do need, all for free.

The aim of the day is to reduce the amount of unwanted household items ending-up in landfill and costing the local taxpayer money in landfill charges, as well as reducing the amount of harmful gases being released into the atmosphere. All residents need to do is bring along their unwanted reusable items (not broken or electrical) and donate them at New Oriel Hall from 9am with the last donation accepted at 12 noon. We will only accept small pieces of furniture or items that will fit into an average sized family car.

The Council's Waste Campaigns Team will be on hand to offer advice on recycling, reducing household waste and home composting.
