Cows rescued from Frome barn fire as 50 tonnes of hay go up in flames
Cows were rescued from a huge barn fire at a Frome farm in the early hours of this morning.
Fire crews from Somerset and Wiltshire were called out to tackle the barn blaze at Rocks Farm, Tellisford, shortly after midnight.

The barn contained around 50 tonnes of hay, which was well alight by the time emergency services arrived at the scene.
The cattle were safely removed from the barn to a field, and were unharmed.

Four crews from Frome and Wiltshire were joined at the scene by an incident command unit from Street.
Firefighters used main jets, hose reel jets and drag forks to fight the fire and were allowing the barn to burn out under control this morning.
