Cougars keep purring
Culverhay Cougars' 1st and 2nd teams maintained their unbeaten Avon Netball League records with victories last weekend.
Megan Bows excelled at goal-shooter and wing-defence to take the player of the match honours for the second week running as the 1sts beat Whitchurch 52-20.
The 2nds defeated Airbourne 38-27, with centre and wing- attack Tash Jones named player of the match.
Cougars 3rds claimed a bonus point against Panthers, losing 31-27 despite edging ahead in the final quarter. Player of the match Sarah Jayne Eyles shone at goal- attack.
