Corsham homecoming for Paralympic star Stephanie Millward
A Corsham Paralympian was welcomed home by locals at the Springfield Leisure Centre last night.
Stephanie Millward, who won five medals at the London 2012 Paralympics, was greeted hundreds of people including family and friends.
"The fact there are people stood outside the sports centre waiting to have a word with me is absolutely fantastic this is all my dreams come true," Stephanie said.
The Paralympian who was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis while still at school won four silver medals and one bronze medal at this year's Paralympics.

Stephanie said: "It's not hit home yet that I practically have five medals in front of me."
Springfield Leisure Centre presented Stephanie with flowers to welcome her home and for her achievements.
Stephanie spent some time signing autographs and giving people the opportunity to have their photo taken with her medals.
Among the well wishers, Stephanie's teacher, Katrina Shillaker from Corsham School also welcomed her home.
"She was really bright, really quiet, very humble but really really hardworking and sadly in 6th form she got MS and she was devastated but always kept going. She's a really lovely girl and we've always kept in touch," she said.
Stephanie now hopes to inspire people to swim and achieve their goals: "I want to inspire everybody, give them something to dream about because I have realised my dream and done what I wanted to."
The Paralympian athlete is also hoping to achieve further success at the Paralympics in Rio 2016: "I may have not got the gold yet but I am going to go to Rio and get it."
