Combe Down under-16s come back to beat Wellington in Somerset Cup semi-finals
COMBE DOWN The under- 16s staged a brilliant comeback to beat Wellington on tries scored and reach the Somerset Cup semi-finals.
With less than 15 minutes to play, the Downers trailed 22-5 and Wellington winger Joe Lewis had demonstrated why he was in the England under-16s squad with two deadly finishes.

But, having already suffered the heartache of a single point loss in the Bath Combination Plate semi-final this season, the Combe Down boys' determination not to go out was evident for all to see.
James Vecchio and Alistair Addley touched down in a storming spell of rugby and, with Fin White's touchline conversion bringing the score to 22-17 with four minutes remaining, one last score would guarantee the away team took the spoils.
