"Bath in Fashion is now in its fourth year and while we have always been heavily involved since the beginning, I believe as the Bath In Fashion event grows, The Bath Chronicle and thisisbath.co.uk continue to grow with it.

"Our readers enjoy being stylish and spend most of their money in the local area, therefore it seems obvious to support an event that is important to the business community and the people of the city."

Famous names from the world of fashion will be taking part in the festival, which is fast gaining worldwide attention.

The Norman Parkinson Archive is working exclusively with Bath in Fashion to stage an exhibition marking the centenary of the birth of one of Britain's most influential fashion photographers. The exhibition at the Octagon at Milsom Place will be curated by Roland Mouret who created the Galaxy dress, and whose designs were seen on the red carpet at this year's BAFTAs on the likes of actresses Jessica Chastain and Jennifer Garner.

Designer and High Street fashion shows are being staged by John Walford, who has been responsible for creating events for leading designers all over the world including at London Fashion Week, along with top stylist Rebekah Roy.

Michael Bush will be talking about his experiences dressing singer Michael Jackson, illustrator Julie Verhoeven has created imagery exclusively for Bath in Fashion and is planning an installation at the Holburne Museum, while David Downton is offering an illustration masterclass with supermodel Jade Parfitt.

Festival chair Sarah Mansfield, director of the Milsom Place shopping centre, said: "The festival promises to portray fashionable Bath in a new light, bringing together top designers, commentators, photographers and illustrators under the banner of Looking at Fashion."
