City of Bath Rhythmic Gymnastics Club youngsters Francesca Fox and Lynne Hutchinson will represent England at next month’s Commonwealth Games in Delhi.

The pair, who are joined by former Games gold medallist Rachel Ennis in the rhythmic section, have just completed an intensive two-week training camp with their club at the University of Bath Sports Training Village.

Fox, who has just turned 18, was a non-travelling reserve for the 2006 Games in Australia.

She and Hutchinson are both members of the Great Britain girls squad, an eight-strong group which competes across Europe in top-level events.

Fellow West Country gymnast Imogen Cairns, from Portishead, is also in the England team. Cairns has been injured since just after her Olympic debut in Beijing two years ago, damaging both feet during a floor exercise.
