Chorus of approval as Bath shoppers win instruments in competition
A group of Bath shoppers started the new year in musical style.
The Bath Chronicle teamed up with the city's newest music shop Music Dynamics for a musical instruments competition.

Winner Lucy Roberts with her keyboard, second Mark Lewis with his guitar and third Harry Castens with his guitalele
Shoppers had to answer a Christmas carol-themed question. All the correct entries were put into a hat and three lucky winners were then drawn by Broad Street shop owner Andrew Griggs.
The winners were in first place Lucy Roberts who won a keyboard, Mark Lewis came second and won a guitar and Harry Castens took third place and won a guitalele – a cross between a guitar and ukelele.

“Bath can probably support a well-run sheet music shop, if they get to know their market. Some of the staff at Duck Son and Pinker didn't know their way round their stock and customers who asked for things that they didn't have could be made to feel that their request was too specialised to be worth bothering with.”
