Champions-elect Colerne rack up a century of points at Melksham
A thumping 110-0 triumph at Melksham 3rds took rampant Colerne to the brink of the Dorset & Wilts 3 North title.
The victory was the Black Army’s 15th in as many league matches this term and another at home to Warminster 2nds on Saturday will secure top spot with four games to play.
Jamie Duncan, Ed Ross and Shaun Allen set the tone with early tries, all three of them converted by Ryan Willcox.
Jeremy Dicks secured Colerne’s 13th bonus point of the campaign before braces from John Wheeler and Shaun Allen accompanied by another try from Duncan and the first of three from the man of the match Sean Hopper.

Turning around for the second half 64-0 up, Colerne picked up from where they left off and Allen scored their 11th try thanks to good work from scrum-half Martin Adcock.
Although Melksham continued to show plenty of heart, Colerne went on to score seven more tries. Duncan and Hopper completed their trebles and Ashley Salter, Ed Ross, Adcock and Willcox rounded off a huge win.
