Arsene Wenger's men may have suffered FA Cup embarrassment on Saturday but at least one Arsenal side will be getting their hands on silverware this season.

Adam W scored a second-half hat-trick as Bath Arsenal under-11s beat a spirited FC Bath side to be crowned as Midsomer Norton League champions.

Arsenal needed just a point to wrap up the title but, despite taking the lead through a sweet left-footed strike from the energetic Harvey WR, they looked nervous and were pegged back before half-time.

They got to grips with the heavy pitch after the break, though, and put together a number of great moves, culminating in three goals for Adam and a clinical strike from William H.

Proud manager Matt Pike would like to thank Simon Barton and his company, Touchstone Residential, for sponsoring the under-11s’ kit this season, as well as all the parents for their help and commitment.

* Bath Arsenal under-14s scored twice in each half to beat Larkhall Athletic 4-0 in the Mid-Wilts Youth League Blue Division.

Alfie hit the crossbar with a back-header from a corner for Larkhall before Arsenal took the lead when Reuben touched in a shot from Angus on the goalline.

Angus picked himself up after being fouled to double the lead from the penalty spot and wrapped up victory with a superb 25-yard shot which curled into the top corner.

In between those strikes, Reuben had made it 3-0 by guiding home a long-range free-kick from Oscar, who had an excellent game in defence.

* Bath Arsenal under-10s were involved in two competitive games against FC Bath, with the Tigers winning 4-1 and Pumas scoring four without reply.

Dan S set Tigers on their way with a close-range finish after being well found by Louie, then a fantastic team move ended with Luca teeing up James to fire home.

Louie then provides two more assists, for Fin and Ben W’s sweet drive, before Ben O was narrowly beaten by a volley as Bath scored a worthy consolation.

The Pumas off to a good start as Jack jinked to the line before finding Benji, who poked home for the first. Daniel then hit both the post and bar before Matt broke free and drove home from a tight angle.

Joe W found Paddy, who beat his man to score with a left-footed strike, before an excellent move involving Cam, Ethan and Ryan set up Benji to curl home his 17th of the season.
