Castle Combe's mini-revival halted with defeat at North Bradley
Castle Combe suffered a setback in their bid for Trowbridge Windows & Conservatories-sponsored Trowbridge League Division 1 safety as they went down 2-1 to North Bradley at a muddy Peace Memorial ground.
The pitch only just survived a late inspection and the fixture was one of just two in the league to beat the wet weekend weather.

Combe were chasing a third straight victory and took the lead just before half-time when Ryan Salter finished off a counter-attack from a Bradley corner.
The hosts drew level when Ryan Godridge’s drive from 30 yards squirmed under the body of Combe keeper Luke Jones and Reuben Spong’s first-time effort shortly afterwards proved to be the winner.

Combe were then reduced to ten men when Alan Farnish received a second yellow card.
Title-chasing Melksham Town Reserves were held to a goalless draw by Conigre visitors Seend United in the only other game to get the go ahead.
