Carly Bryant brace helps Larkhall Athletic Ladies clip Downend Flyers wings
Larkhall Athletic Ladies put space between themselves and third-placed Downend Flyers as they beat their rivals 4-0 in the South West League Premier Division on Sunday.
The hosts were over-physical at times in the first half but the Larks picked themselves up to score three times through Carly Bryant, Kelly Cripps and Lizzie Barrett’s beautiful finish from outside the box.
Nicola O’Connell made a fine save to keep out a 20-yard free-kick before Larks wrapped up the points when Bryant completed her double.
Larkhall will make a rare appearance under the Plain Ham floodlights on Thursday when they entertain table-topping Bristol Ladies Union (7.30pm).
