Canoe star Ed McKeever wants Euro title back
Ed McKeever will be looking to send another shot across the bows of his London 2012 rivals this weekend by reclaiming his continental crown.
The Bradford on Avon paddler won the K1 200m title at the 2010 European Sprint Championships but had to settle for bronze last year.

However, McKeever goes into this weekend's event in Zagreb on the back of three World Cup gold medals – two individual and one relay.
And he is keen to maintain those high standards, especially as Sunday's European final will come just six weeks and six days before the biggest race of McKeever's life – the Olympic final at Eton Dorney.

"It seems like just yesterday I was watching London being announced as the host city for 2012 but that was seven years ago," said the 28-year-old, whose place in a nine-strong Olympic canoe sprint squad was confirmed last week.
"The next few weeks until my race are going to fly by. I am excited and proud to be able to represent our country at the biggest sporting event the world has ever seen."
