Campaigner killed in Africa
An activist who worked for a Frome charity for three years has been found shot dead outside his house in Africa.
The death of campaigner Jabulani Ncube, who worked for Action on Disability, is being treated as suicide but investigations continue.
Reports of the 59-year-old’s death in the national newspaper, The Namibian, say Mr Ncube had been found shot outside the home he shared with his wife Alexia Manobe-Ncube, who is an MP.
Jabu, as he was known, had returned to work in Namibia in 2010 after working for ADD International in Frome, where he was international programme manager and deputy chief executive.
