CND chief to talk on Trident plans
The general secretary of CND will address a meeting organised by its Bath branch and the city's Stop War Coalition on Wednesday.
Kate Hudson, who is also the author of a history of the peace movement, will be talking about the Trident nuclear weapons system at the public event.
Her talk will cover the political, moral and economic issues raised by the Government's plans to press ahead with Trident's replacement, at a cost of at least £25 billion.
The meeting is at 7.30pm at the Bath Royal Literary and Scientific Institution in Queen Square.
