Bath City boss Adie Britton is not going for a Burton
Bath City manager Adie Britton has shelved plans to have two established keepers on his books for the club's return to non- league football's top division.
Britton had hoped to sign a second shot-stopper on a permanent basis to compete with regular number one Ryan Robinson but admits he will have to lose "one or two" members of his squad for that to happen now.

Terry Burton
Former Forest Green Rovers man Terry Burton – the man who displaced Robinson at The Lawn – has featured heavily in City's friendly programme but the manager will now explore cheaper alternatives.
"I've told Terry I'm unable to sign him," said Britton. "He's impressed on the football field and would have fitted the bill but I simply can't fit him into the budget at the moment.
"There are a couple of others on trial with us, one from Clermont Ferrand and another who is from Verona and going to Bristol University, so we'll have a look at them.
"It might be that I sign somebody who is very, very cheap or go for a loan goalkeeper should the need arise.
"It would have been nice to have had somebody like Terry on board as it gives me a bit of security. I wouldn't have been on edge all the time."
Britton has all but finalised his squad for the new campaign but is looking at bringing in another fresh face and had a cash offer for an unnamed player rejected last week.
He said: "The player I'm looking at played in Blue Square Premier last season and we put a small fee together but unfortunately the club in question have turned it down."
Trialists Yan Klukowski and Mitchell Bryant will not be offered deals by Britton, who called off City's scheduled friendly at Worcester City on Tuesday due to growing injury problems.
