Britton agrees a deal to bring attacking midfielder to City
Bath City boss Adie Britton has agreed his first signing of the summer – and is hoping to finalise details with another player in the next couple of days.
A replacement for Australia-bound Paul Evans could also be in place by next week, with Britton revealing that a contract has been offered to a 'fairly local' keeper.

"I spoke to an attacking midfielder on Saturday and we shook hands on a deal, which he will sign when he returns from holiday," said the manager.
"I don't want to say who it is until then but he is a young, energetic player who really fits the bill for us.
"We have also made an offer to a goalkeeper who is fairly local to us. He is on trial with another club at the moment and cannot give us an answer until next week.
"It's interesting because he is one of four goalkeepers who have approached us, all of whom have played at a similar level to us or higher."
Britton – who confirmed that Martin Slocombe is staying at the club – said goalkeepers weren't the only ones keen to play for City next season.
"We have been contacted by a number of players who want to join us but they are not necessarily the players we want," he said.
"Arch [assistant manager Lee Howells] was on the fans' forum a couple of weeks ago and someone had compiled a list of strikers who could replace Dave Gilroy – and within a couple of days two of them had got in touch with us!
"The important thing is we make sure we add that bit of extra quality to the squad we had last season. We are looking for another midfielder, preferably one who could cover at the back, and obviously we need a keeper and two strikers.
"I would like to have at least three of them in by pre-season."
