Bitton complete quickfire league double over Barnstaple Town
Bitton moved back into the Toolstation Premier Division’s top six thanks to a 2-0 home victory over Barnstaple Town on Saturday.
Goals from Ryan Batten and Mark Salter earned the points for the home side, who wrapped up a quickfire league double having won 3-1 at Barnstaple a week previously.
The victory was Bitton’s fourth in five matches and followed a 1-0 success at Buckland Athletic last Wednesday night. James Pilling grabbed the game’s only goal.
Odd Down’s home game with Melksham Town was postponed.
