Beechen sides march on in county competition
RUGBY Three Beechen Cliff teams have booked their places in the semi-finals of the Somerset Cup.
The unbeaten under-14s continued their fine form with a 46-0 triumph over Backwell, a side they narrowly overcame at the same stage of the competition last year.

Ned Newman scored four tries and was joined on the scoresheet by Louis Howell, Ben Lansdown, Alex Dewhurst-Chapman and Tom Dudman.
The Backwell coach was so impressed that he described Beechen as the best school side he had seen.
