Beechen Cliff School hot-shots wrap up Potterne competition
The final round of shooting at Potterne saw a valiant attempt by the last of the Beechen Cliff Year 7 pupils to overhaul the high scores posted in earlier rounds of competition.
Jack Golding and Alex Pakeman proved to be the top shots on the night, scoring 522 points to beat Daniel Davey and Nicholas Joinson by just two.
The latter pair achieved the fastest time for the ever-popular stake shoot, only eight seconds being required to bring down the baton and weight.
