Bath veterinary nurse's dedication to pet health behind top award

A Bath veterinary nurse has been awarded for her commitment to pet health care.

Sharon Curtis, who works at Bath Veterinary Group's Rosemary Lodge Veterinary Hospital at Wellsway won the top prize at the Royal Canin Pet Health Counsellor of the Year Awards.

The 30-year-old from Midsomer Norton beat off competition from veterinary nurses from all over the UK and Northern Ireland to win the title.

She was picked for her dedication to her job, in particular her work in preventative health care, helping pets to lead a fitter, more active and healthier life.
