Bath special schools' expertise on offer

Two Bath special schools have announced they are launching a not-for-profit social enterprise to allow others to access their expertise.

Three Ways School and The Link School, both based at Frome Road, in Odd Down, have formed Brighter Futures, an organisation designed to offer specialist staff to other schools, colleges, nurseries and families.

Kieran McCarthy, the scheme's business development manager, said that between them the two schools had a wealth of knowledge that could be used by others.

He said: "We have a wide range of practitioners and partners with expertise in special educational needs, inclusion, therapeutic approaches, behaviour support, health and personal development.
