Bath’s popular tourist attraction the Thermae Bath Spa has become a surprise choice in the Top Ten Places to treat dad this Father’s Day.

Not so surprisingly, sporting venues and historical sites feature highly with the home of football, Wembley Stadium, coming out on top.

The Thermae Bath Spa has proved a haven for the modern man, taking the number eight spot on the top ten list compiled by consumer review website Qype.

Bath's natural hot springs have become an unlikely hit with dads willing to indulge themselves with a spot of pampering in the contemporary surroundings and traditional Georgian architectural of the spa which was opened in 2006 after extensive renovation.
