The project is organised by the Christian group Urban Saints, which will bring together young people from all over the UK to fundraise for the trip and then travel to Tijuana to build a house in ten days.
Urban Saints will be working with Amor Ministries whose mission is to create housing for the hundreds of thousands of families without a decent roof over their heads.

The brothers fly out at the end of next month for their ten days, and at the end of it give a family the keys to their first permanent home.
To raise funds so far they have canoed 30 miles down the Kennet and Avon Canal in a sponsored event, and they are busy organising a cheese and wine event, an auction of promises, a chilli night, and an inflatable event to be held at Larkhall in March.
Joshua said: "Two years ago I went to Tijuana and when we gave the mum of the family the keys to their house, she was so overwhelmed. It was a wonderful experience and I can't wait to get started out there again."
The cheese and wine evening takes place on Saturday at St. Saviour's Church, Larkhall at 7.30pm and will include an auction of promises.

“WHY? Mexico is NOT a poor country! Spend your time, money and energy helping those that are poor in your home town. Just the cash saved on the air fares and ALL the other expenses should be a great starter! The drug catels will soon take anything you 'give' and the family will no doubt be heading off towards the US boarders to the land of 'gold sidewalks'!
Ah! BUT! This is a churchy thing so it MUST be right!
Ah! BUT! Charity begins at HOME!”
