Bath beat the cold and Bradford after super second half
Some opportunist tries ensured that Bath RFC under-13s ran out 24-5 winners over Bradford on a bitterly cold morning which made handling difficult.
Bradford’s pack edged the early exchanges but Bath’s forwards came back into it, led by driving runs from Morgan Pugsley and the unceasing efforts of Miles Kingsley.
And they took the lead when good runs from Rory Ellis and Pugsley created space for Charlie Quarren-Evans, who fly-hacked forward before pouncing on the loose ball to touch down.
Bradford hit back and, after a spell of pressure in the 22, former Bath player Tom Burrows made it count by going over in the corner.

The sides went in level at the break, which was a fair reflection of the first half, but Bath soon restored their lead when Quarren-Evans bagged his second.
Tom de Glanville converted and then extended Bath’s advantage with a break from midfield, which saw him weave his way through the defence before scoring beneath the posts.
The result was put beyond doubt when James Milford took advantage of a loose ball and went over in the corner.
