Bath Santas gear up for charity runs
Two charities are gearing up for festive fundraising activities.
The Dorothy House hospice and Children's Hospice South West are both organising Father Christmas-themed events.
Following the success of last year's first-ever Santa Dash, Dorothy House is calling on people to once again don a Santa suit and take part.
The four-mile run will be held on Sunday December 2, and starts at 11am in the hospice grounds at Winsley.

Event organiser Phillippa Watson said that last year's event had seen 100 costumed runners raising more than £11,000 for the hospice at Brokerswood Country Park near Westbury.
"This year we decided to take the event to Winsley, where it will start and finish at the hospice, taking in the lovely Winsley views along the way. We would love to see more Santas join us this year to help us raise even more money than last year."

Meanwhile, an advanced party of Santas have been spotted relaxing in the city's spa to publicise the children's charity's event.
The publicity stunt at Thermae Bath Spa's rooftop pool was for the Santas on the Run event in aid of CHSW next month.
Registration for the event, which takes place on Thursday, December 6 at 7pm, has opened, and organisers are hoping that as many people as possible will take part.
The 2km (1.2 miles) run will see participants following a route through the streets of Bath.
All the money raised will go to CHSW, which has a hospice at Wraxall, near Bristol.
The charity provides support to children with life-limiting conditions and their families.
