Bath Rugby debut for former soldier Semesa Rokoduguni

Former soldier Semesa Rokoduguni will make his Bath Rugby debut against the Newport Gwent Dragons in the LV= Cup.

Rokoduguni, who signed for the club at the end of last month, lines up on the left wing as Bath welcome the Dragons to the Recreation Ground tomorrow, kick off 2.15pm.

The reconnaissance tank soldier with the Royal Scots Dragoon Guards impressed during a trial period at The Rec, scoring tries on both his appearances with Bath United.

Olly Woodburn makes his first senior appearance of the season on the other wing with Matt Banahan and Dan Hipkiss in the centres and Ollie Devoto starting at full-back for the first time.

Continuing the firsts for the Dragons clash, Brett Sharman makes his first start of the season at hooker while Simon Taylor returns at Number 8 wtih Guy Mercer and Josh Ovens on the flanks.

One man who will be relieved to pull on a Bath Rugby shirt again is Ryan Caldwell, who has recovered from injury to take a place on the bench with Ken Dowding on loan from Bridgend and Luke Adamson from Saltfords Reds.
