The Royal Crescent Hotel, which was recently awarded three AA rosettes today for the quality of its restaurant, is the only hotel in Bath with a concierge service.
Marketing manager Stephanie Hill, said the Royal Crescent prides itself on doing more than the average hotel.
She said: “Being greeted by a uniformed concierge and having your car whisked away to valet parking is just the beginning. Being personally introduced to the hotel and having your bags waiting in your room by the time you get there are another, but having reception ensure that your dog’s favourite food and your child’s favourite teddy bear are on hand is quite something else.
“We have a happy gardener sharing tips, umbrellas at the ready for unexpected showers, and a teddy on the bed for a child’s first night away. We love the hotel and want to share it with others.
“Most importantly everyone at the Royal Crescent Hotel and Spa is part of a family who want only the very best for each guest and want to make your stay as individual as you are.”
The city’s reputation has been enhanced by the number of upmarket B&Bs.
The four-bedroom Athole Guest House in Upper Oldfield Park was recently voted the second best B&B in Europe in a TripAdvisor poll which gave the top position to an establishment in Italy.
