Avon, Stothert & Pitt and Bath Saracens in running for Team of the Month award
TEAM OF THE MONTH Three past winners are hoping to add to their collection of Bath Chronicle/Greensward Sports Consultancy Team of the Month honours after being shortlisted for February's prize.
Up for grabs, courtesy of Greensward and Wadworth, is a case of beer and some signed Bath Rugby merchandise and the sides in contention are:
AVON The Somerset Premier champions have suffered with a lack of momentum, not helped by their Hicks Field ground's location by the river and games lost to flooding.
February was a slightly brighter month for them, however, as they chalked up two wins – one against Bath Combination rivals Keynsham.

BATH SARACENS Despite losing to Dorset & Wilts 1 North table-toppers Chippenham in a tight encounter, Sarries managed two good wins last month including a 92-5 mauling of Combe Down 2nds.
STOTHERT & PITT The October award winners notched up four wins out of four in Somerset Premier, including a 72-0 drubbing of Imperial.
Every team that takes the monthly accolade during the 2012-13 season will be eligible for our first Team of the Year award. A superb prize package includes a Wadworth Brewery tour for the entire team, with beer to take home, an end-of- season pitch renovation package worth more than £1,000, courtesy of Greensward, and an executive box at one of Bath Rugby's pre-season friendlies.
