The freehold of the Bottelino's branch at Bladud Buildings in Bath will be auctioned on Monday.

The branch was opened in 1985 and there is planning consent to develop flats above the restaurant, the operation of which will be unaffected.

Bottelino's was started by Giuseppe Botta 30 years ago and is still a family- run business with nine restaurants. It will be auctioned by Colliers CRE.

Meanwhile, the chain is raising money for the Willow Foundation, a charity that specialises in creating special days for young adults living with cancer and other serious diseases. The firm has asked for a discretionary 10p donation for its complementary breadsticks and olives.
