Athletic hit half-dozen
TIMSBURY ATHLETIC Two goals apiece from Lewis Bond- Kendall, Harry Leakey and Adam Barrett earned Timsbury Athletic under-12s a 6-3 victory over a determined Chilcompton side.
Athletic hit the post inside the first five minutes before Bond-Kendall opened the scoring when he swept home Luke Garland's cross.

Leakey's fierce strike made it 2-0 before Billy Bridges pulled one back. The industrious Barrett was rewarded for his hard work when he slotted Timsbury's third and Leakey added another before Reece Nichols struck for Chilcompton.
With Adam Stanley finding space on the left, Timsbury continued to threaten in the second half and Bond-Kendall fired a free-kick into the top corner. Barrett then finished off a fine move but Chilcompton's Darcy Baber had the last word.
