Clients from a homelessness shelter in Bath will be showcasing their talents this month.

The Central Library will stage an exhibition from January 19 to 24 of the artwork produced by clients of Julian House at workshops held in the Holburne Museum.

The pieces will include The Night People, which could be seen dotted around the city to mark the launch of the Bath Fringe Festival.

The workshops are held once a week and encourage homeless men and women to be creative.

Art, education and outreach officer at the museum, Emma Finch, said: "People of all abilities come to the sessions, including people who have not done any art since they left school at 16. It is great because it is not usually something they have access to and they can do anything from painting to photography.

"I have a real interest in everyone being involved in art and being the given the opportunity to have a go."
