TEAMBATH ARSENAL It may have been their first game of 2010 due to the weather but the under-13s picked up where they left off, continuing their perfect league record with a 5-0 defeat of Amesbury Junior Tigers.

Sam PW opened the scoring after seven minutes, coolly slotting home a well-placed shot from close range, and then Jon H headed in from man of the match Curtis D's outstanding corner.

Jon H scored Arsenal's third on the half-hour, the result of some excellent passing around the Amesbury defence.

Sam PW struck again two minutes into the second half, his quick reaction finishing off a rebounded shot, and Olly A wrapped up the scoring with a deft touch over the Amesbury keeper.

With many games in hand still to play, Arsenal's true league position will quickly be restored if they continue to play in this manner.
